“I never really considered having a day of coordinator, especially since I had heard such great things about the team at the Pelham House where we got married but I can say without a doubt, having the Blue Hydrangea Events team be part of our day was one of the best decisions we made as part of the wedding planning process. From the start, Rachel was very communicative, gave a very clear overview of her packages and offerings and before I even signed a contract, she seemed invested in our day.
She is incredibly knowledgeable, offered some great advice, and really took the reins when it came to managing the vendors as we got close to our day which was a massive help/stress reliever. She built our extensive day-of timeline and worked through a few adjustments for the hair and makeup schedule with ease.
Though Rachel was not able to be there on our day (due to her new baby boy!), Jessica stepped in and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Having her there truly made all the difference in the world when it came to getting through the day without any hiccups. I swear she was somehow in 10 places at once and I never felt an ounce of stress or panic about anything (and I was prepared to be a ball of nerves all day long). We even made it through a ceremony in 40mph winds with no issues. Every time I turned around, Jessica was there to grab something, get a message to someone, clean a stain from my dress, deliver something to someone’s room, etc. yet she never looked stressed or overwhelmed with everything she was trying to accomplish.
